3rd Assistant Carpenter
Assistant Carpenters are responsible for all carpet and wallpaper installation; woodwork building and repair; and other general carpentry work in all crew, guest, and public areas on board. He/she reports to the Carpenter Supervisor/Chief Carpenter and is also in charge of the general maintenance of all carpets, doors, locks, furniture, and woodwork in crew cabins, guest staterooms, and public areas. A minimum of two years’ experience and training as a craftsman is required for this position.
